Sun Valley Lodge Honors Top Volunteer

City, Arizona – Tuesday, Thursday, June 28, 2012 – Sun Valley Lodge honored
Rose Yates at its annual Volunteer Appreciation luncheon. Ms. Yates, a resident of the Lodge, was given
the Helene Pfeifer award in a ceremony honoring volunteers to the
organization. The Pfeifer award is given
annually to a volunteer who best exemplifies the spirit of the Lodge.
“We are thrilled to be able to
recognize all Rose does for our staff and her fellow residents,” said Lodge
marketing director Mike Kloberdanz. “She
is a shining example of what everything that is great about Sun Valley Lodge. Rose gives selflessly, has fun, and improves
the lives of everyone around her. We are
really lucky to have her.”
Rose is originally from St. Louis,
but spent 50 years in California where she worked in the operations department
at the ABC studios in Los Angeles. She
moved to Arizona after her brother passed away and lived for awhile with her
niece. She has lived at the Lodge for
approximately 2 ½ years.
